Delivering New and Resale equipment to the Wire, Cable and Fiber Optic industries since 1976, the Gauder Group serves as a partner that is active, progressive and close to its customers. Efforts to meet that challenge and develop the group spirit hinge on a multi-faceted approach combined with vast geographical coverage.

Strategy axes:

·      Develop and market Technically Advanced Machines in manufacturing systems for Metallic Cables (energy and power cable, telecommunication and multimedia, special purpose cables) and Fiber Optic Cables;

·      Maintain and develop World-wide Presence, close to the customer for best service;

·      Maintain and develop availability of a large, modern stock in Resale Machinery for the Wire, Cable and Fiber Optic Cable industries.

Synergy levels:

The manufacturing hinges on long-standing relationships with technically reliable sub-contractors. Lines are assembled at the group's plants in Liege (Belgium) and Roanne (France), under the full supervision of the dedicated specialized staff.

New machines:

The group is a leader in Rotating Machines.

Heavy-duty Rotating Machines such as Stranding Machines for Power and Larger Cables production designed and manufactured by POURTIER - Gauder Group (France). More than 1500 lines (i.e. 10000 individual machines) are in production worldwide.

·      Planetary stranders, Drum twister lines, Single twist stranding, cabling and armouring machines, Tubular stranders, Rigid stranders, SZ cablers, Group twinner, Screening heads, ...

High-speed Rotating Machines designed and manufactured by SETIC - Gauder Group (France). First company in the world to implement round Unilay with double twist. SETIC is also the owner of the PATENTED Triple Twist Technology. More than 4500 machines are in production worldwide.

·      Double twist bunchers, Double twist stranding and cabling machines, Bow cablers, Twinners, quadding lines, Pay-offs, Taping heads, All-in-one twinning lines, Group twinning lines, ...

Other product lines are Extruders and Extrusion Lines for LV and communication cables, designed and manufactured by MAPRÉ - Gauder Group (Belgium), as well as Innovative Equipment for FO cables by Gauder Group Fiber Optic Division (France).

Second-hand machines:

Specialist in off-the-shelf Resale Equipment supply for cable factories and wire works, GAUDER & Co (Belgium) has a permanent stock of over 1200 machines (22,000 sq. m. of storage area) and a fully equipped workshop specialized in equipment reconditioning, reconfiguring and automation.
