Nexans CIS LLC, Russian and CIS branch of Nexans, was established in 2002. Main tasks for the branch until 2005 were business development and promotion of Nexans products and services across Russia and CIS markets. Since the beginning Nexans CIS showed sustainable annual sales growth and continuous enlarging of product portfolio.

In 2005 Nexans Group has decided to build a new cable plant in Russia. A small city named Uglich in Yaroslavl area was chosen for the construction site. Nexans CIS became in charge of the facility construction process and the production afterwards. Soon, in 2006, company set up Nexans Russia branch in Uglich. Russian plant was officially opened 20-th of November 2008.

In November 2009 Nexans CIS LLC was renamed to Nexans Rus. LLC

Special features:

Having modern equipment and using global Nexans cable experience and knowledge Uglich cable plant has a technical possibility to manufacture cables according Russian GOST 31996-2012 and GOST R 55025-2012 standards including conductors sealing, overall longitudinal and radial cable sealing, tape or wire armoring, different insulation types and sheath materials.

Also we are able to offer certain technical solutions for projects with high fire security demands. Our registered trade mark ALSECURE cables (HF, HFFR, HF Low Temperature, HFFR Low Temperature) provide outstanding fire safety along with perfect maintenance characteristics.
