Wardwell Europe GmbH as merger between SCHNELLFLECHTER BERLIN GMBH and SPIRKA Maschinenbau GmbH is a supplier of braiding, spiralling and winding machines for the Cable & Wire Industry, Hose Industry and for medical appliances(catheders) with a long tradition.

SCHNELLFLECHTER was founded in 1908 in Berlin under GUIDO HORN and produced and developed since that time continously braiding, spiralling and winding machines for a wide range of applications.

After aquisition of SCHNELLFLECHTER Berlin GmbH through WARDWELL BRAING MACHINE CO./USA in 1994 and the merger in 2003 between SCHNELLFLECHTER and SPIRKA Maschinenbau GmbH, which was founded in 1953 in Alfeld, both companies concentrated their experiences and potentials in designing, developing and producing of their machinery programme with the target to offer a very comprehensive range of machinery and a very efficient service to their clients worldwide.

Especially as result of concentrating their development capacities newly developed and improved machine systems are now available, f..e. for applications like:

— braiding of super fine wire upto 3 x0,03 mm dia.

— braiding of high tensile steel wire upro 2.800 N/mm tensile strength

— spiralling of cables and hoses with high speed and small diameters upto 0,07 mm dia.

In addition Wardwell Europe GmbH supplies automatic winders with 2- or 4-spindles for single and multiwire applications for high quality winding processes as basis for high quality braid products.
